Freestone Park is set over 65-acres, and there is enough to do here to fill a whole day. Big League Dreams Park

This park has scaled down versions of some of the most famous ballparks in the United States such as Yankee Stadium and Wrigley Field. Youth baseball and softball games take place here throughout the year, and these games are always open to spectators. If you are feeling hungry during your visit, then you may want to pay a visit to the Stadium Club restaurant for lunch or dinner. Riparian Preserve At Water Ranch

The Riparian Preserve At Water Ranch is the perfect place to escape the hustle and bustle of the city. There are over 200 species of birds that currently call Riparian their home and this number is rising all the time. Gilbert Historical Museum

The Gilbert Historical Museum is located in the building that uses to be Gilbert Elementary School which opened in 1913. There are nine different exhibit rooms at the museum which has been open for over thirty years. These exhibits focus on aspects of the town's past such as life in the Old West, occupations of the town and school life.

Gilbert Heritage District

The heritage district is located in the most historic area of Gilbert, and this area is undergoing something of an economic redevelopment at the moment. Liberty Market is a must visit the restaurant which started life as a grocery store in 1935. Gilbert Rotary Centennial Observatory

The observatory is managed and operated completely by volunteers. The telescope at the observatory is 16 inches in diameter and offers great views of the moon and planets such as Venus, Mars, Jupiter, and Saturn. The observatory is open to the public every Friday and Saturday night, and it also opens for special astronomical events.
